Content management

When you switch to the Update tab and select a URL field, a matching record opens for editing as you browse the web and transition from URL to URL.

This flow, together with using Airtable as a data source for website and app builders like Softr, Glide or Pory, can effectively turn Powersave into an inlined Content Management System.

Manage URLs

To make this work well in practice, each record that represents a published page needs to point to itself via URL field. At least one URL field needs to store at which URL this page is located.

If I have a table of products and each products has its own designated detail page then it's needed to store the URL of that page for each product.

Powersave will then open up the relevant product as you browse the published store / portfolio.

This allows for quick editing and right away seeing how the changes affect the end result.
